Position Summary

The Captain supports cargo flight operations on the Fairchild SA227 Metroliner, operating out of San Angelo, TX. This role includes scheduled outstation flying between San Angelo (SJT) and San Antonio (SAT) with overnight stays.


Responsibilities
  • Operate as Pilot in Command under Part 135 operations
  • Conduct scheduled cargo flights between SJT and SAT
  • Perform IFR flight operations in compliance with FAR 135
  • Maintain safety and regulatory compliance

Requirements
  • Must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions
  • 1,800 total time
  • 1000 PIC
  • 500 cross-country
  • 250 multi-engine
  • 100 turbine
  • 100 instrument (50 in aircraft)
  • 100 night
  • Previous FAR 121/135 experience required
  • Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent within past 6 months
  • Commercial Pilot License (Multi-Engine Land) with Instrument Rating
  • High performance and complex endorsements
  • First Class or Second Class Medical (First Class required for international operations)
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Current passport
  • English proficient
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted
  • Must meet TSA badging requirements
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous multi-turbine PIC experience
