The Airbus A320 Captain conducts Airlines flight operations, exercising command authority over the aircraft and crew while maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command of the Airbus A320.
• Ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations in accordance with GACA regulations and applicable operating requirements.
• Exercise command authority and responsibility for flight operations and crew members onboard.
• Lead and manage flight deck and cabin crew.
• Maintain high standards of airmanship, discipline, and operational decision-making.
• Monitor weather, operating conditions, and aircraft performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture and report hazards, incidents, and operational irregularities as required.
• Maintain professional conduct while on duty and during layovers.

Requirements

• Valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate; GACA licence preferred or convertible.
• Current Airbus A320 Type Rating.
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by GACA, EASA, FAA, or equivalent authority.
• Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.
• Minimum 4,000 hours Total Time on the Airbus A320 or turbojet aircraft above 30 tons equipped with FMC, EFIS, and glass cockpit.
• Minimum 2,000 hours PIC on the Airbus A320 or similar-category aircraft.
• No history of accidents or serious incidents.
• Clear criminal record.

Preferred Qualifications

• GACA Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
