Position Summary

The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of company aircraft and has overall authority for the aircraft, crew, and passengers from acceptance following pre-flight inspection until the aircraft is released to qualified flight or ground personnel. This position ensures safe, compliant, and professional airline operations in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Exercise Pilot in Command authority during all phases of flight.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft.
• Maintain compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures.
• Accept responsibility for the aircraft from pre-flight through post-flight operations.
• Promote safe and efficient airline operations.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• CAA Pilot License.
• Valid Instrument Rating.
• Valid ATPL.
• Minimum 5,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 2,000 hours on medium aircraft.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 500 PIC hours on medium jet aircraft (Direct Entry Command).
