Position Summary

The Captain operates as part of an Airline flight operations department based at Velana International Airport in Malé, Maldives. The position requires substantial command experience on ATR or DHC-8 aircraft and previous instructor experience.

Requirements

• Valid MCAA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL(A)) with an ATR or DHC-8 endorsement that is current or expired within the preceding 24 months.
• Valid MCAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 3,500 total flight hours.
• Minimum 2,500 hours PIC on ATR or DHC-8.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher with a minimum of six months validity remaining.
• Must be or have previously been an instructor on the ATR or DHC-8.
• Applicants must be Maldivian.
• Last three pages of the updated logbook, certified by a Fleet Manager or Chief Pilot, must be submitted.
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide an incidents/accidents report from the licensing authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an examiner.
