Position Summary
The Direct Entry Captain operates Airbus A350 or A380 aircraft in international airline operations. This Airlines role requires current Airbus fly-by-wire command experience and substantial multi-crew, multi-engine flight experience.

Requirements
- Valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Matching Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Level 5 or above.
- Minimum 7,000 total flight hours in multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft, excluding P3, rotary, single-engine piston, multi-engine piston, and simulator time.
- Minimum 150 hours within the past 12 months as Captain on Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft.
- A380: Minimum 3,000 hours PIC on Airbus fly-by-wire wide-body aircraft (A330/A340/A350/A380).
- A380: Must currently operate an Airbus fly-by-wire wide-body aircraft as Captain.
- A350: Minimum 3,000 hours PIC on Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft (A320/A330/A340/A350/A380).
- A350: Must currently operate an Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft as Captain.
