Direct Entry Captain | De Havilland Dash 8-400 (Q400)

Position Summary

The Direct Entry Captain operates the De Havilland Dash 8-400 turboprop in scheduled Airline operations, leading the crew and upholding the highest personal and professional safety standards while delivering a refined passenger service across a growing North American network.

Schedule

• Full-time.
• Onsite at assigned base.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Dash 8-400 safely on scheduled flights as Pilot-in-Command.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet service standards.
• Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS), reporting hazards and incidents.
• Understand, comply with, and promote the company safety policy.

Requirements

• Airline Transport Pilot Licence (Transport Canada).
• 2,500 total flight hours.
• 500 hours Pilot-in-Command on the Q400, or 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command on heavy turboprop over 44,000 lbs MGTOW.
• Legal ability to work in Canada (valid Canadian passport, or valid international passport with a valid US Crewmember Visa C-1/D).

Preferred Qualifications

• Time on type.
• 705 operation experience.
• Aviation college or university degree.
