Direct Entry First Officer | Airbus A320

Position Summary

The Direct Entry First Officer operates the Airbus A320 on scheduled passenger services while supporting safe, efficient, punctual, and high-quality flight operations. Pilots joining with at least 1,800 hours on the A320 are offered an accelerated opportunity to transition to the Airbus A350 for long-haul operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate the Airbus A320
• Prepare and conduct flights in accordance with established operating specifications and procedures
• Support punctual, economical, and high-quality flight operations
• Coordinate effectively with flight crew, ground personnel, and air traffic control
• Support the Captain in all operational matters and act as deputy when required
• Maintain thorough knowledge of aircraft systems and operate with sound professional judgment

Requirements

• EASA Part-FCL Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
• Valid Airbus A320 Type Rating
• Class 1 Medical Certificate
• Minimum 1,800 hours on the Airbus A320
• Fully documented aviation record, including current simulator and line checks
• Above-average performance record
• Very good German and English language skills
• English proficiency of at least B2 / ICAO Level 4
• Swiss or EU-27/EFTA citizenship
• Letter of motivation
• Strong integrity, maturity, loyalty, interpersonal skills, and leadership potential
