Direct Entry First Officer | Airbus A350

Position Summary

The Airbus A350 Direct Entry First Officer supports safe, efficient, and punctual long-haul passenger operations to destinations worldwide. The role works closely with the Captain, crew, ground personnel, and air traffic control and will eventually include Airbus A320 operations as part of a mixed-fleet flying program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as First Officer on the Airbus A350
• Safely and efficiently conduct assigned flight operations while supporting on-time performance and passenger satisfaction
• Prepare and execute flights in accordance with established operating standards
• Coordinate closely with flight crew, ground personnel, and air traffic control
• Support the Captain in operational matters and assume assigned responsibilities when required
• Maintain detailed knowledge of aircraft systems and apply sound operational judgment
• Operate on the Airbus A320 fleet after the applicable transition period as part of the Mixed Fleet Flying program

Requirements

• EASA Part-FCL Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
• Valid Airbus A350 or A330 Type Rating, or type rating expired by no more than one year
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
• Minimum 1,000 hours on Airbus A350 and/or 2,000 hours on Airbus A330
• Complete documentation of flight experience, including current simulator and line checks
• German language proficiency of at least C1
• English language proficiency of at least B2 / ICAO Level 4
• Swiss or EU-27/EFTA citizenship
• Strong integrity, teamwork, and leadership qualities
