First Officer | Dash 8-400

Position Summary

The First Officer operates the De Havilland Dash 8-400 (Q400) turboprop in scheduled Airline operations, providing safe and efficient air travel across an expansive network while serving as a collaborative crew member and brand ambassador.

Schedule

• Full-time; onsite (not eligible for remote work under the hybrid policy).

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures, ensuring the safety of crew and guests.
• Lead by example, demonstrating honesty and integrity.
• Work effectively within a dynamic team and communicate effectively.
• Remain flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the operation.

Requirements

• Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).
• Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating.
• Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Completion of the IATRA, or the SAMRA and SARON exams (valid through to PPC).
• 750 hours total time.
• 100 hours fixed-wing pilot-in-command time.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada; valid passport (and Canadian PR card if not a Canadian passport holder).
• Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) obtained prior to Initial Ground School.
• Clear police background/criminal record check; pass pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
• Accumulated flight time over 1,000 hours.
• Multi-engine and multi-crew operations experience.
• Graduation from a partnership school.
