Captain | Gulfstream G450

Position Summary

The Gulfstream G450 Captain serves as Pilot in Command and is responsible for the safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the aircraft. The position requires strong leadership, international and long-haul operating experience, exceptional client service, and the ability to mentor First Officers while maintaining effective coordination with flight operations personnel.

Schedule

• Irregular flight schedules based on operational needs
• May be called for flights or notified of cancellations with limited notice
• May require several weeks or more away from home depending on business needs, international destinations, and trip schedules

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Gulfstream G450
• Maintain responsibility for safe and efficient ground and in-flight aircraft operations
• Verify passenger identification prior to boarding
• Complete all required preflight checklist procedures
• Train and mentor First Officers on assigned flights and aircraft
• Provide exceptional and discreet service to passengers
• Comply with FAA and international aviation regulations, Operations Specifications, the General Operations Manual, and applicable operating procedures
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with assigned crew members, dispatch, maintenance, and administration
• Perform additional flight operations duties as assigned

Requirements

• Pilot Certificate
• Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Permit
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Minimum 4,000 hours Total Time
• Minimum 1,000 hours Multi-Engine PIC
• Previous overwater, long-haul, and international flight experience
• Experience providing high-level guest service to high-profile clients while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
• Valid, unexpired U.S. passport
• Eligibility to operate internationally without restrictions
• COVID-19 vaccination due to international travel requirements
• Must reside in or within two hours of SNA, VNY, BUR, LAX, ONT, LGB, SAN, OAK, SFO, SJC, PDX, SEA, PHX, ABQ, LAS, RNO, DEN, DAL, DFW, AUS, DSM, IAH, HOU, PBI, FLL, MIA, TPA, MCO, ORD, PWK, ATL, GSO, CLT, TEB, LGA, EWR, JFK, or BOS
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Gulfstream G450 Type Rating
• Candidates residing in Las Vegas are highly preferred
