SIC | Gulfstream IV (GIV)

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Second-in-Command to support safe and professional Gulfstream IV operations. The SIC is responsible for assisting with aircraft operations, pre-flight preparation, flight planning, regulatory compliance, passenger safety, and required trip documentation while supporting Part 91 and Part 135 operations.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Must live within a 2-hour call-out of KHND
• Local candidates with appropriate rating and currency preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the safe operation of the Gulfstream IV
• Review aircraft maintenance status prior to flight
• Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
• Review weather, airport facilities, routing, and alternate airports
• Ensure flights are conducted in accordance with company procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew
• Complete required trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with established procedures
• Maintain professional customer service standards throughout flight operations

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP)
• Appropriate GIV SIC Type Rating
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate valid for ATP privileges
• Minimum 2,500 hours Total Flight Time
• Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine Land
• Minimum 200 hours Instrument
• Minimum 200 hours Turbine
• Minimum 200 hours Time in Type
• 1–6 years of applicable experience
• Knowledge of Part 91 and Part 135 operations and applicable FAA regulations
• Ability to maintain a valid First-Class Medical Certificate
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and background checks
