Position Summary

The Gulfstream G150 and Global 5000 Captain is responsible for the safe and professional operation of assigned aircraft while meeting passenger travel requirements. This position requires strong operational judgment, attention to safety, and adherence to applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and operating procedures.

Schedule

• Full-time.
• On-call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Gulfstream G150 and Global 5000.
• Conduct flights safely and prudently in accordance with applicable regulations and operating procedures.
• Review aircraft maintenance status before flight.
• Conduct required preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Review weather, airport facilities, routes, and alternate airports before departure.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft.
• Complete required trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain required international operating proficiency and complete annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KSAT or be willing to relocate.

Requirements

• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Gulfstream G150 and Global 5000 Type Ratings or comparable aircraft qualifications.
• Minimum 3,000 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land.
• Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbojet.
• Minimum 250 hours Instrument.
