Second in Command | Challenger 650 (CL605/650)

Position Summary

The Second in Command supports Challenger 605/650 operations and assists the Aircraft Commander with the safe and efficient conduct of assigned flights. The SIC performs assigned operational duties in accordance with company procedures, applicable regulations, and established safety standards while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe and efficient operation of assigned flights
• Assist with the safe navigation of the aircraft and maintain awareness of aircraft position and terrain clearance
• Carry out required operational procedures and checklists
• Comply with the Aircraft Flight Manual, Operations Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, and applicable regulations
• Support the Aircraft Commander throughout flight operations
• Report occurrences or incidents that have endangered or may have endangered safety
• Report faults, failures, malfunctions, or defects that may affect aircraft airworthiness or safe operation
• Provide a high standard of customer service and contribute to customer satisfaction and retention

Requirements

• Full EASA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• CL605/650 Type Rating
• European Union Class 1 Medical Certificate
• Minimum 1,500 hours Total Flight Time
• Extensive global flight experience
• Strong commercial aviation background
• Fluency in English
• Demonstrated record of excellent operational performance

Preferred Qualifications

• English proficiency Level 6
• EU-OPS and/or Air OPS experience
• Military or airline training experience
