First Officer | G550

Position Summary

A First Officer supports safe and professional Gulfstream G550 operations in a private aviation environment, working with the Captain and Flight Operations team while maintaining high flight-safety and VIP-service standards.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule.
• Weekends and public holidays may be required.
• Extended duty periods may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assume command when directed by the Commander.
• Assume the Commander's authority if the Commander becomes incapacitated.
• Participate in flight preparation and crew briefings.
• Operate in accordance with approved procedures and checklists.
• Review meteorological, NOTAM, aeronautical, and operational information.
• Review aircraft technical status.
• Complete operational flight plans, mass-and-balance documents, flight logs, and technical records.
• Coordinate with Flight Operations, Dispatch, Maintenance, and Ground Operations.

Requirements

• Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL).
• G550 Type Rating.
• License and Type Rating issued by FAA, UK CAA, EASA, or another applicable ICAO-recognized authority.
• Current Class 1 Medical.
• International-airspace operating experience.
• Knowledge of G550 systems, performance, limitations, and procedures.
• Knowledge of international aviation regulations and flight operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Challenging-weather and diverse operating-environment experience.
• Private jet or business aviation experience.
• Gulfstream experience, particularly G550 or another large-cabin Gulfstream.
