Position Summary

The PIC / Lead Commander operates Gulfstream 500 aircraft within a Corporate flight operation, maintaining command responsibility for safe, compliant, and professional business aviation operations while providing leadership to the assigned crew.

Schedule

• Rostered position with leave allocation.

Responsibilities

• Perform PIC and Lead Commander duties during assigned operations.
• Maintain responsibility for operational decisions aboard the aircraft.
• Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and the aircraft is airworthy before departure.
• Operate the aircraft in accordance with applicable operating manuals, SOPs, and aviation regulations.
• Coordinate with passengers or the aircraft owner when aircraft defects or operational issues may affect the schedule.
• Maintain a safe and professional onboard environment with effective Crew Resource Management.
• Verify passenger travel documentation before departure.
• Maintain responsibility for passenger safety and required cabin safety procedures.
• Brief passengers regarding flight time, weather, potential delays, and other pertinent information.
• Report operational abnormalities, incidents, and accidents through appropriate channels.
• Maintain compliance with applicable internal and external regulations and procedures.

Requirements

• Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
• Current Gulfstream 500 Type Rating.
• Minimum 4,000 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 2,000 hours Jet.
• Minimum 2,000 hours Multi-Engine.
• Minimum 1,000 hours PIC.
• Gulfstream 500 training and line-service experience within corporate aviation.
• Corporate or business aviation experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional language proficiency.
