Instructor Pilot | Embraer Praetor

Position Summary

The Instructor Pilot delivers full-flight-simulator and ground-school training on the Embraer Praetor to business aviation pilots at a civil aviation training center (Instruction operation), developing pilot skill in accordance with regulatory and company training standards.

Schedule

• Full-time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flight-simulator and ground-school training in alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct professional, comprehensive pre- and post-flight simulator briefings.
• Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) for client training and internal course development.
• Pursue Training Center Evaluator qualification after approximately 1.5 years.

Requirements

• Unrestricted ATP certificate, or completion of the ATP Written.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and internet-based programs).
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Participate in DOT Drug & Alcohol testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Unrestricted PIC type rating.
• FAR Part 135 experience and 3,000+ total flight hours.
• Prior instructional or training experience.
• Business aircraft experience.
