Position Summary

The Flight Instructor supports pilot training and student development through professional flight instruction and exemplary aviation practices. This position is restricted to United Aviate Academy graduates only.

• Deliver safe, professional flight instruction
• Demonstrate sound airmanship and lead by example
• Support student development and established training standards

Requirements

• Hiring United Aviate Academy graduates only
• Must have completed all student training
• Certified Flight Instructor qualification
• Must meet eligibility requirements for Specific Authorization under FCL.900(c)
• Minimum 500 total airplane hours
• Minimum 200 hours of dual instruction given
• Minimum 150 instrument hours; employer describes additional instrument-experience criteria and potential exceptions requiring review
• Must be in good standing

Preferred Qualifications

• 400 total airplane hours preferred at interview stage; final stated eligibility minimum is 500 hours
