Class 1 Flight Instructor

Position Summary

The Class 1 Flight Instructor provides flight and ground instruction within an Instruction operation, supporting student development and the training of future flight instructors while maintaining applicable Transport Canada flight-training standards.

Schedule

• Full-time.
• On-site position.

Responsibilities

• Provide flight and ground instruction.
• Provide Flight Instructor Rating training.
• Conduct student progress reviews and support individual training plans.
• Support Ground School and Preparatory Ground Instruction (PGI) training when required.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
• Follow applicable Transport Canada flight-training requirements and established training procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the instructor team.

Requirements

• Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Flight Instructor Rating.
• Valid Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
• Valid aviation medical.
• Strong knowledge of Transport Canada flight-training requirements.
• Strong instructional and communication skills.
• Professional, reliable, and safety-focused.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
