Flight Instructor (Part-Time) | Van’s RV-12, Sky Arrow, Tecnam Eaglet, Searey

Position Summary

The Flight Instructor provides part-time flight instruction focused primarily on light sport aviation in day VFR conditions. This position trains primary students pursuing sport, recreational, and private pilot certificates while also supporting flight reviews, aircraft checkouts, and other instructional activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary flight instruction for sport, recreational, and private pilot students
• Conduct flight training primarily in light sport aircraft
• Provide instruction in day VFR conditions
• Teach basic flying skills including attitude flying, grass field operations, pilotage, and dead reckoning
• Conduct flight reviews
• Perform aircraft checkouts for renters
• Provide seaplane rating instruction as qualified
• Follow the company training syllabus
• Support students throughout their flight training programs

Requirements

• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate
• Ability to provide safe and professional flight instruction
• Ability to effectively teach and mentor student pilots
• Availability to support part-time flight instruction

Preferred Qualifications

• Light sport aircraft experience
• Experience providing primary flight instruction
• Experience with Van’s RV-12, Sky Arrow, Tecnam Eaglet, or Searey aircraft
• Seaplane instruction experience
