Flying Instructor | Cirrus SR-22 / Diamond DA42

Position Summary

The Flying Instructor delivers high-quality flight training to ab-initio pilot cadets at a flight training academy (Instruction operation), initially on the Cirrus SR-22 single-engine aircraft with progression potential to the Diamond DA42 twin. Instruction spans on-aircraft, in-simulator, and on-ground delivery within a dedicated, fully operational flight-training environment in Dubai South.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and flying instruction to ab-initio cadets.
• Conduct pre- and post-flight training briefings to ensure cadets understand procedures fully.
• Deliver flying skills training in aircraft, simulator, and ground instruction to meet prescribed standards.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure cadets meet course standards.
• Ensure cadet safety is paramount and report incidents/violations affecting operational safety.
• Monitor cadet proficiency and progress regularly and generate accurate performance reports.
• Research, develop, and recommend new training methods to improve learning and performance.
• Deliver other flying-related training initiatives as directed by the CFI.

Requirements

• Ab-initio flying instructional experience in a large ATO.
• GCAA or any ICAO Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with a Single-Engine Class Rating.
• Flight Instructor Rating with Night and Instrument privileges.
• Class 1 Medical Certificate without restrictions.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or greater.
• 700 total flight hours.
• 500 instructional hours.
• 200 IFR hours.
• Exceptional instructional technique across a broad range of teaching methodologies.
• Computer literate.

Compensation

• Basic salary AED 24,161 per month (tax-free).
