Position Summary
The Production Test Pilot / Ground Inspector conducts Category 3 production test flights on newly manufactured aircraft while also performing detailed ground inspections during aircraft assembly. The position combines flight testing with technical conformity and quality responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Conduct Category 3 production test flights
- Conduct test flights on DA40, DA42, DA50, and DA62 aircraft
- Support future aircraft programs including the DART aerobatic trainer
- Perform detailed ground inspections during aircraft assembly
- Verify aircraft conformity against drawings
- Identify and communicate discrepancies
- Recommend design, manufacturing, and quality improvements
- Complete extensive on-the-job training before independent operations
Requirements
- EASA Commercial Pilot Licence
- Instrument Rating for Single-Engine Piston aircraft
- Instrument Rating for Multi-Engine Piston aircraft
- Mechanical, electrical, or aviation engineering education or equivalent, OR EASA Part-66 AML B1
- MS Office knowledge
- Excellent German and English communication skills

- Minimum 800 hours Total Time
- Minimum 400 hours PIC
- Aerobatic Rating
