Direct Entry Captain | Dash 8-300

Position Summary

The Direct Entry Captain operates Dash 8-300 aircraft in specialized flight operations. This Other role serves as Pilot-in-Command while supporting assigned domestic and international operations.

Schedule

• Permanent.
• Rotational operation.
• Overnight shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command during assigned operations.
• Brief crew members regarding aircraft operations, routes, and operational concerns.
• Supervise assigned crew members.
• Maintain operational control throughout flights.
• Coordinate with dispatch, ATC, FSS, and customers.
• Maintain required operational documentation.

Requirements

• Valid CPL or ATPL.
• Current Dash 8 Type Rating.
• Meet applicable Transport Canada requirements.
• Minimum 1,500 total flight hours.
• Minimum 500 hours PIC.
• Minimum 250 hours on Dash 8 aircraft.
• Legally eligible to work for a Canadian company.
• Clear criminal background check.
