The Helicopter Pilot serves as Aircraft Commander and provides specialized helicopter flight and ground training. The Helicopter Pilot supports functional check flights, operational procedures, emergency training, and coordination with the operator and customer.

Responsibilities

• Participate in helicopter flights as Aircraft Commander
• Provide in-flight and ground training on Functional Check Flights
• Conduct training on flight procedures and emergency procedures
• Provide training on helicopter equipment and weapon systems interfaces
• Deliver pilot training courses
• Coordinate with the operator, customer, and supporting personnel
• Proactively identify potential operational problems
• Maintain awareness of compliance risks and act with integrity
