Position Summary

The Seaplane Pilot operates Cessna 208 Caravans in single-pilot tourism operations. This Other role is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and passengers while conducting seasonal flight operations during the 2027 operating season.

Schedule

• Full-time, seasonal position for the 2027 operating season.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command during single-pilot operations.
• Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft and passengers onboard.
• Operate in accordance with company procedures, manuals, and reasonable instructions.
• Independently assess operational situations and make sound flight decisions.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safe and effective flight operations.

Requirements

• CASA Part 61 Commercial Pilot Licence.
• CASA Class 1 Medical.
• Current Aeroplane Flight Review (AFR).
• Single-Engine Aeroplane Class Rating.
• Cessna 208 (C208) endorsement.
• Floatplane (FLP) endorsement.
• Gas Turbine Engine (GTE) endorsement.
• Manual Propeller Pitch Control (MPPC) endorsement.
• Retractable Undercarriage (RU) endorsement.
• Minimum 1,500 total flight hours.
• Minimum 350 hours float time.
• Ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Ability to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Preferred Qualifications

• 50 hours Cessna 208 experience.
• Flight Instructor Rating.
• Night VFR Rating.
• Single Engine Command Instrument Rating.
